Apr TCU tune launch control question

I'm sure everyone is aware of the delay between the time you let off the brake and the time the clutch engages and you take off. I was wondering if anyone knows if aprs TCU tune eliminate this or makes it any better or if anyone knows of any TCU tune that eliminates it or makes the delay much less noticeable. Let me know guys.

Our EPL TCU tune shortens this delay and many other things that are shortened with the TCU tune.

Not sure, but there was an updated EPL TCU file posted the last week of April, maybe this is the ticket?

Our TCU tune does decrease this delay. How are you measuring it and are you sure you have the TCU flash installed?

I am 100% sure I have a TCU flash, actually Tony is trying to work on a launch control issue I am having with shifting early. And I am measuring it by my senses. If it is decreased it is not perceiveable.

Im almost positive the 04/28/16 revision of the TCU file was specifically to address this., not sure about the lag though

Its 37% quicker in the epl file.

The whole lock up process stock takes roughly .55 seconds, so thats roughly .365 seconds "tuned". Unless you have spider senses, Im not sure anyone could measure that difference seat of the pants. That said, it will be noticeable 0-60 or on a 60 foot because the car does leave a stop harder.

Ive asked my staff to stop posting in this thread and this will be the last/only time I post.

I apologies the original question was derailed.

I don't think spider senses are required, I'm using the track as a perfect example, when using launch control I need to let the brake off right as the second yellow tree light is about to transition to the third and if the delay was unnoticeable or required "spider senses" then I should be able to release the brake at the third tree light and get good consistent reaction times. All I can tell you is the delay is by no means unnoticeable. I wish others would chime in that have a TCU tune.

Tried to launch for the first time with APR TCU tune. The tech that installed set the RPM @ 4000 but it doesn’t seem to actually engage.
I turn off ECS, mash the brake then start to mash the throttle but the car lurches a little and the RPM never goes beyond 2,000 RPM.

    Not sure what’s wrong

Make sure you hold down the ECS button til you get a message on the screen behind the steering wheel that says ECS OFF. also make sure you’re in dynamic mode and the gearing is set to S1. Sometimes mine likes to be in D1 and I have to go back and forth with the lever. However, I made the ‘click the ECS off button rather than hold it down’ mistake for about the first month of having the tcu tune
