Having a weird problem with spark plugs. Last week i replaced my spark plugs with DENSO IRIDIUM IK22, gapped them all to 0.28 and threw them in the car and parked it. The next morning i started it up, it started just fine then i started driving and when the engine was under load it would misfire like crazy and i never got a CEL (so im not positive its a misfire but it sure feels like it) once the car warmed up it would drive just fine, only when it was cold would it misfire. it did this all the time when cold but still never any CEL. So last night i put my old plugs back in and it ran just fine. what gives? why would it do this? i was told that these plugs are good and i have an them before in the past and it was just fine. HELP

Maybe you just didnt have a coil pack properly connected on the first attempt with the new plugs. I know im guilty of this.

Rule of thumb with tuned cars you usually want to run one heat range colder plugs like the ones below. Can't beat copper plugs, just have to keep up with changing them out more than a platinum or iridium plug. But they are also 1/4 the cost.

You sure you didn't damage the electrode on the plug? You're not really supposed to gap Iridiums (they come pre- gapped so you don't mess up the tip).

    BKR7EIX for iridium

Zero issues for me in all my cars.
