GIAC's flashing suite now incorporates an "unlock" feature to program the latest high security MQB cars completely over OBD! This affects all A3s, S3s, GTIs, and Golf Rs as well as some Skodas, Cupras and Audi A4s with an ECU production date after 3/15/2015. To take advantage of this, GIAC dealers should download the newest update for the flashing software suite. This latest GIAC programming suite maintains all crash protection and recovery functions our dealers are used to, but now has new routines that identify locked ECUs and set a bypass if necessary before flashing normally. The only difference the end user will notice, is that flashing a locked ECU for the first time will take slightly longer.As the 2016 MQB OBD unlock was not available during our spring promotion, we will be offering 10% off all 2016 MQB engine and DSG flashes until May 31st 2016. Extra modes can be added to the engine flash at 20% off
