    Hey guys, I'm looking at maybe purchasing a 2010 A4B8 quattro 2.0t 6spd with 75k.
I called Audi and theres no history of piston rings or oil consumption.
I plan on doing the valve cover gasket, cam follower and brakes to it.

Anything else i should check out? It's pretty clean but I'm bummed it has no led headlights or tail lights.

Should be able to pick it up for around $12k maybe slightly less.
Check out rx8club and dsmtuners under my same screen name to verify my good itrader score!

This link might help. Since the dealer doesn't show that it's been in for the oil consumption, I'd plan on bringing it in first thing if it's burning oil. You might want to keep looking around for a 2011 or 2012 if you're wanting the B8 body style. Also, if you can find one that's fully loaded you'll be a lot happier. Like nav, sports package and S-Line because if you don't, you'll regret it and spend a ton on modes. At least that's what I've seen on here for most that didn't get those options. Like me...

2011 and up you should be safe with the oil consumption issues.. i hope lol bc i got a 2012.

if you plan on upgrading to LEDs and DRLS, id just wait it out til you find one. like infiltrator said, youd be spending alot more money on aesthetics.

I'd recommend waiting for a Premium+ with the HIDs, and one with the oil consumption definitely addressed. Almost all of those repairs were handled by Audi dealers, so there should be records, and essentially every 2009 was affected.
