Can't reset CEL on 3.0

02 3.0 CEL light came on and I can't clear code! hooked up my generic scanner says code cleared but CEL still on, disconnected battery still on! any other way to clear CEL?

What's the code? It's probably recurring as soon as you clear it.

well I went to get my car inspected and while waiting online (long line) my battery light came on still passed inspection but about 5 mins after I passed got my sticker I got code 18032 TC :( I was thinking this code was due to the battery and wanted to reset it to see if it comes back, also had code 18010 weak battery. I was on a 250 mile road trip and everything is working fine just the CEL

Do you have an automatic? I believe 18032 is usually paired with something in the TCM (I've seen it paired with torque converter codes). Do you know anyone with VCDS so you can do a complete scan?
