    Remote batteies keeps dying

If I stand by my car after locking it I can hear my vacuum pump trying over and over to lock my car even though it already has.
It doesn't want to accept that it's already locked.
My remote will die after a couple weeks and I have to buy new batteries for it. Is it my remote or my trunk module going nuts?

Remote. Battery is only used when button is pressed. Sounds like it's getting stuck. Maybe try unsticking it with electical parts cleaner.

There's the battery side and the button side with two copper looking dealios that aren't screws.
I don't see how to break it down any further without breaking it...? Do they pull out?

No, they don't. That is why I said to just spray it with parts cleaner. Mind you, I have never sprayed a mother board chip before with that cleaner, so I'm not too sure if it will have any ill effects. You may want to research it. But if it were me (don't give a f*ck 9/10 for stuff like this) I would have just removed the batteries, sprayed it with electric parts cleaner, and then let it air dry (couppe seconds to a couple minutes).
