Goodbye B5 Fam!

Goodbye B5 friends and family (or see you later)! Last weekend, I sold my B5 A4 that I have owned since 2007. Luckily it went to another enthusiast who has already done some modding to it; I will vicariously live that B5 lifestyle through him as he continues to mod it. He is "A4inIowa" and flew in last Saturday and drove back to Iowa from Texas (sold with the help of redline380 ). I've met some great friends through the community that I'll still have regardless of the car I own. There's always the possibility that I may get back into another Audi in the near future but this is the end of the B5 era for me.

This car has seen it all:
The car has brought to five different local car clubs as I moved throughout Texas.
1200 mile drive to North Carolina and back
Three track days
Interior Swap
Transmission Swap
On its 3rd set of wheels
Second big turbo setup
Second exhaust setup
Third aftermarket suspension setup

Here is its lifecycle: Started off as a 2001, A4 Quattro Tiptronic 1.8T

I was constantly chasing a tail with that one. Id fix one thing and it would become something else. Maybe at first it was the PCV, but then valve cover, then oil pan gasket, then CV axle grease, then exhaust gaskets, and I finally think that it has been the fuel injector seating all along.

Sad to see the car sell, and I am sure it was a tough road letting her go. One day I'll walk that same road.

For some reason, I really wanted your car to go to someone who would love it. This dude seemed alright, and asked if there were any good b5's for sale. I knew right where to go.

He has already done some very tasteful mods, leaving zero doubt in my head the he will take care of it the way it needs to be taken care of

Sorry I'm late to the thread, but just wanted to give you my thanks! I'm sad to see you leave the Audi universe!
