I know its been covered but haven't worked on my A4 for a while and need a hand. I am replacing rear left-drivers side axle- do I need to remove exhaust or whatever, any help is appreciated. May just take to shop if a pain.

8 bolts and it's out. No need to touch the exhaust

Top of the rear spindle so you can move the axle out

Thanks bordom that is what I thought. It doesn't want to move from transaxle so I guess I need a bigger hammer. Thanks again much appreciated.

Anytime. I've BTDT, so I'm fairly familiar with the whole thing. Good luck!
