    why? From what I know it just makes an annoying noise and loses power over stock.

    I use to run the stratmosphere intake, and while I'm sure it lost a little bit of power, it sounded soooooo good :)

    Just di-noc the box with carbon fiber. That will give you more horsepower than the APR.

    Yup! The stock intake is too dang efficient for the V8. Save yourself a lot of money and just drop a K&N filter in. Done.
