    Strut Bar cause hood flex?

Quick question, hopefully someone can give some insight. I installed the CR15 bar, which is an awesome mod BTW, and have just notice the gap between the driver fender and hood got wider with a slight arch around the middle of the gap. I just had that fender repaired which was minor (non moving accident), and driven the car at least 1200 miles before installing the CR15 bar. I never noticed any widening of the gap. After about 500 miles or so after I installed the bar I instantly notice the gap. I looked at some photos when I first received the car and the gap is smaller and straight.
Shouldn't the opposite happen and the bar removes flex, and keep the front end more compose, which it certainly does. Going back to the shop and thinking of removing the bar first. thoughts?

pictures of what you are referencing would help...my immediate concern is that the bar is installed wrong.

Basically this gap got wider. This is a before shot. Could be a bodyshop issue.
Edit to add that I installed the bar correctly. Easy install, instructions were great. Plus the tabs on the OEM bar prevents you from installing it wrong (must go in the slots on the bar).

I have the CR15 and the UR strut bars, and I cannot say I've experienced this.. And I drive my car quite happily daily...

Why provide us with the 'before' pics and not the 'after?'

It seems HIGHLY unlikely that a strut tower bar would displace the fender or hood alignment. Take it back to the body shop and have them repair it correctly.

i'm willing to bet it's from the fender work.

I'm going to agree with this. No after pics yet. Still at work. Maybe those hood adjustments got loose somehow.
