    How do you get the propshaft/driveshaft out of the center diff on a manual trans B8

    2012 s4 ccba 3.0t manual trans- I have identifix which links me directly to Audi's non employee version of Elso pro called Erwin. They did not update the information on the driveshaft procedure. There is no output flange on the tail of the transmission; the driveshaft seems to attach in the same way a jap car drive axle or VW/Audi 09G axles attach . I don't want to break anything .. is there a clip hidden or do I need to remove the whole center diff ?

    no idea but props for owning a 92 corrado. I used to have a 92 vr6 vortech supercharged one :)

    Problem solved .. Even an Audi tech @ Audi local dlr did not know this. There are three different versions of output shaft. The one I have is literally attached to the prop/driveshaft by the dust/grease boot of the forward cv joint in the shaft. Remove the boot clamp and the driveshaft slides off the output shaft with minimal pull. WOW !
