Intake question

Looking into getting intake for my 2010 A4. I'm seeing 2 different part numbers on Amazon for a K&N Typhoon intake. One is way cheaper than the other

Part # - 69-9505T ($285 range) fits 09-10 A4
Part # - 69-9508T ($185 range) fits 14-15 A4

Why are there 2 different ones? Would the $185 one fit in my 2010?

heard good and bad about the KN filters. Seems there is a fluttering noise of the intake during a certain RPM accleration. If I were you I'd get the APR Turbo muffler delete and a drop in filter. For both would be around 200 dollars for a bigger difference imo. If you just want noise then these intakes do that best but I could see it being annoying.

The fluttering noise is not because of the K&N, it is because its a B8 A4. All intakes make same annoying whistle flutter sound, ive fitted 3 intakes, carbonio, K&N and ECS.

The fluttering noise leads me to think that its the Turbo muffler fitted on these cars.

It's crazy u bring that up I was just discussing that being the possible cause recently, have you installed the muffler delete yet?

I just brought the exact same setup. Unless you want the noise I would recommend the drop

It's crazy u bring that up I was just discussing that being the possible cause recently, have you installed the muffler delete yet?

I have not but I'm looking to install it with either a cold air intake or a drop in Afe. This guy in the video has the KN intake and the turbo muffler delete and it seems to sound great.
