Question Identify P/N for Vacuum pump filter & intake cam sensor o-ring

    Gents,

I've exhuasted all of my resources and research; I'm trying to find 2 part numbers which seem to not exist (man, I hope they do!).

    1. The o-ring on the intake cam position sensor. The service manual I have says its servicable and states to replace it.
    2. There's a oil filter / strainer that is in the vacuum pump. Here is the pic of it:

In the picture, its the "4 legged filter" on the lower right of the vac pump itself.

I've pulled the filter out and there's no P/N marking on it at all.

I've talked to a dealership, ECS and even looked up on etka - no dice.

Big kudos for anyone that has info on this!

You probably only get a new O-ring if you buy a new cam position sensor, already installed.

For the 4-legged filter, why not just wash it out with some solvent and re-use it?

That seems to be the case in regards to the o-ring for the cam sensor. I don't want to buy a new sensor for $70 when there is nothing wrong with mine. That's why I also mentioned that my service manual states it's replaceable. I'd imagine threes a P/N for it.

As for the filter/screen, that's my last ditch effort. It doesn't come apart within itself. There's crud in it now, I want to make sure I clean it all out. It seems that there's a small orifice at the other end which meters the oil feed. Gonna be hard to clean it completely.

I hit up Europaparts and WolfAutoParts; both came back to me stating they don't carry them. Ugh...

I contacted Deutsche Auto Parts as well; I'm hoping they get back to me (fingers crossed ).
