    New Avant Introduction

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys, I just wanted to share the Avant I've recently picked up. Coming from a 2005.5 b7 A4 Sedan, I've been hunting for an Avant for a little over a year now and finally found my preferred options. Sold mine, picked this up a day later and couldn't be happier. I'm open to suggestions as far as mods go as well

Here's a current list of mods:
    Apikol Front Snub Mount
10mm Front + Back Wheel Spacers
    Bilstein Sport Shocks
    Eibach Sport Springs
    RAI HFC
    Techtonics downpipe + exhaust
    Integrated Engineering HPFP
    Integrated Engineering PCV Valve Delete
Integrated Engineering Stage 1 ECU Flash

And onto the pictures - sorry if the quality isn't top notch, these were just barely taken in my work parking lot

I'm not sure if I'm going to CC + Joey Mod the headlights, along with paint-match the front reflectors quite yet. I might keep the stock look for now. I might plan on debadging the rear along with A8 rings but haven't decided on that yet either but again, I'm open to suggestions!

Thanks for looking - I'm incredibly happy to be a part of the Avant crew!

I don't know this craze for this ''color'' ( yes, yes , can't argue against taste ), but have you ever went in car meet or car track/drag/drift event?

Most of cheap/poor people will have jobber un-painted body panel, and the jobber primer is in most time this almost exact color, but flat.
And 85% of cars color are silver/grey.

It's maybe only in my head and bad observation on riced civic, (mine not better btw , lol)

No grudge here OP, your car is siccckkkk and clean and rare. Congrats !

^^Dolphin Grey is a "Premium color" and iirc there was an extra charge for it. Cant judge from pictures, its full of blue metalic flake.

Not to mention with the Pearl coat, it turns bluish in the sun. Pretty awesome.

Haha no worries - I wish I could explain why I enjoy the color so much as well. I think I was just over a black car but I can see how many would see this color and not think much of it also.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. Whats the consensus on keeping the strips on the filler plate chrome btw?

Soooo jealous dude. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Manual Avants are so hard to find in my area. Been looking for 4 months and I've seen 2... that's it. Besides as S4 Avant, but that was a bit out of my price range. Again, sweat ride.

Very nice! We have the exact same car

Definitely debadge the rear and put on A8 rings, also consider wiper delete and RS4 plate filler.

^^ Thanks for the suggestions - I've always liked the look of b7's rear without the badges and really like the A8 rings on the Avant.

I also think I might keep the plate filler I have as I like how the gloss matches the gloss black grill surround - but may black out the chrome strips in gloss black as well

    Nice looking Avant!

But what's different about A8 rings? Are they bigger?

Yeah I cant remember the exact measurements but they're bigger than stock A4 rings - some feel it looks slightly better especially when debadged

    Also thanks!

Looks to be in great shape. Congrats on finding a titanium package in this color combo. . Hope nobody takes offense, but I would remove the PCV delete and install the factory set-up or a catch can. You'll be blowing through VCGs with that block off and it's bound to cause issues with your crankcase vacuum. If you go the cc/Joey mod, the reflectors are super easy to remove with the bumper off. I used a couple of light coats of VHT Nite shades and then cleared over it with diamond clear. It's held up great and would be a good match with your paint/trim.

Thanks for the suggestions! I don't hate the look of amber corners + reflectors as much as I did on my brilliant black b7. So I'm still unsure. Actually does anyone have any decent pictures of a Dolphin Grey w/ CC and Joey mod? I can't seem to find any good shots
