i know this has been beaten to death but i would rather get flak from forum members than continue to replace parts rather than post a new thread. MAF replaced, DV replaced, Spark and coils Replaced. PCV in the mail. No Misfire codes at all. my thought is a dirty injector under light to medium throttle isnt providing enough gas? carbon build up maybe? under heavy acceleration the problem either disappears or isnt noticeable. oil consumption isnt a problem as i just did a 1600 mile drive and didnt burn much if any. Give me shit for not using the search button.. which i have on this forum and others, and google knows all the questions ive asked at this point before i finish typing. Anything simple to check? ive looked at my intercooler hoses and vacuum lines and all are seated well with not wear. I dont know if i can handle injectors myself but im gonna work on the carbon build up because it doesnt seem like itll kill my bank.
Give me hell if you want but i cant justfiy the 600 bucks ive spent over posting on a forum for free anymore.

I've mentioned it before, but there is a normal hesitation in that RPM range under those same circumstances for the cam-phase shift to occur. Are you sure you aren't beating yourself up over that?

There is a change in cam profile at that point? similar to vanos i guess? wasnt aware but all the research i did led me to believe i could fix it somehow. but if thats the case yea im working my self up for nothing. i will still end up doing build up and injectors hoping to fix it but i cant fight a factory default. i just assumed it was a mechanical problem not monitored by sensors or i would have found a code somewhere. Thanks for the response in any case, that might help me get over it a little and just accept it for the beautiful car ive come to see it as. just wanted it to be perfect is all =/ plus i dont rev past 3k in most cases so its where the car lives. Again thanks for response ill have to deal with it after these last few attempts
