We actually do not offer any specific discounts as we try to price our products as competitive as possible so everyone can take advantage of the same savings.

    Never hurts to ask though!

I am looking for a clutch setup for my A4 1.8t 6mt with a TDI swap. I was wondering if you offered any single mass flywheels that were not ''lightweight'' since they are not recommended for diesel engines. I would love to go to a 240mm setup for the extra torque capacity it will hold.

We have a single mass flywheel conversion kit that isn't light weight for the 1.8T but its not 240mm.

    just a warning for 5-speed owners: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ch-Replacement

as a current stage 2 RA4 owner, I have to concur with the OP of that post, and would say that it's somehow actually significantly worse than my previous stage I JHM RS4 kit, which uses a lighter aluminum flywheel. I'm actively searching for a 6-speed to swap in, it's that bad =/

I have our RA4 flywheel in my B6 with a 5spd and it definitely has some serious vibration under 2000RPMs if you're just lugging along. This is normal. The RA4 flywheel doesn't dampen half the vibrations the dual mass would under those conditions. Personally I don't mind it because I'm hardly ever in the wrong gear or loading up the vehicle up like that. It may take some adjusting if you're used to cursing around in the highest gear though. It's not for everyone that's for sure, but not every modification is.

I have that vibration all the way thru 3200 or so, esp if lifted off the throttle and engine braking

I haven't watched specifically where it stops but if you're in a high gear and under a moderate amount of load you'll get some increased NVH for sure. As such if you let off and engine brake below 2000 rpms. Not sure why you would want to do that anyways.. especially if you have another gear you could be in.

If I'm around 3k rpms in 3rd and need to slow down slightly, it doesn't make sense to downshift to 2nd just to engine brake, and that's where I'm getting the gear rattle.

Like I said it's the nature of the flywheel. Not really anything you can do about it but change your driving habits if you don't want vibration. The way I drive I hardly ever experience vibrations. It's usually if I'm going up a hill in too high of a gear or happen to be on that cusp between gears were you could down shift. Or give it gas, vibrates for a second, then it's above the RPM range where it smoothest out.
