    TTS front brake pads

Front brake pads are shit. I've never seen so much brake dust. I'm scared to hit the brakes when I drive. It's ridiculous. No need for that much dust. I hope a aftermarket low dust alternative appears soon.

I agree, I'm surprised at how much dust is generated as well. Are the calipers and rotors straight off the S3?

I think the tts has 4 piston fixed calipers up front, not sure about the rear. From the looks of it, my s3 has 2 piston sliding calipers up front and single piston rears.

If the tts is anything like the s3, there is mucho dust, but the braking performance is very good and Audi probablyis using lightly trackable oem pads since these are performance cars, brake dust and squealing are just the side effects of good brakes. Still nothing compared to my track car running carbotech xp10/8 combo, you can hear me braking from a mile away with that car and the dust is insane (but noncorrosive).

Indeed, it's always a compromise between braking performance and amount of dust. Style of wheel (venting) also makes a difference in visual accumulation. I find the 19" blade style wheel pretty good at venting dust but my 18" Winter Rial DH's are terrible.
I've used Hawk low dust performance pads in the past so here's hoping they support our TT's. Of course even with proper "bedding in" there's still more squeal. Another compromise.

Fixed caliper, one off at the moment not on any other cars for now...no pads available. Outside of the dust issues the pads suck horribly, heat quickly and fade even quicker. My brake zones were drastically increased at the track....like really really bad. My old b8.5 s4 didn't have this much degradation with the oem equipment!
