if a car was in valet mode what symptoms would it have?
speed cut off or is that related simply to automatic cars?
    lack of instant power ?

I'm pretty sure valet mode just is just giving them the key-fob without the metal key in it. That allows you to lock the glove box and trunk but I think that's it.

You might need to specify what chip or tune you're using than, since it sounds like you're referring to something that actually manipulates the ECU to keep someone from going over a certain RPM or speed.

The built-in valet mode on the S5 only gives you the ability to keep someone from opening the trunk.

    > Open glove box and switch on valet mode
    > Use metal key to lock glove box
    > hand valet your fob and keep the metal key - This keeps them from being able to access the trunk or glove box, assuming you've locked the glove box

Some cars, like the Hellcat, have far better valet modes that tune down power from the factory.

Basically I dont know what chip is in the car, but it appears to be stuck in a valet mode cutting fuel pressure down to 5 bar.
theres no check engine light, everything works just no fuel pressure... and lack fo pwoer
