    Autotec Fuel Pump install question.

    I recently installed an Autotech HPFP and the keepers have a small gap between them, after installation. Anyone else have the same issue? Is this normal?

    What are the "keepers"? Did my hpfp a few years ago (KMD I think) and may recall (wish I took pics)

    Keepers are valve locks, they go between the valve stem and the retainer to hold everything in place.

    I think it meant the 2 little black piece goes onto the retainer?

    Yeah in that case, I recall fearing mine were going to fall out but they held position. So I think you're ok. Any pics to post?
