Uneven tire wear on front tires while lowered

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Just had my car in for an inspection.
I am currently lowered/ slammed to the wheel arches.
Running a Michelin SS 275.30.20 on a 10 inch rim.
The tires were brand new and put on about 9-10k miles ago.
Seems the camber is eating up the inside of the tire pretty bad.
I dont want to have to get a new set of tires every 10k miles.

Anyone have this same issue? Can we use the SPC adjustable control arms to offset this issue?
I was not entirely sure if it would be compatible with the air suspension.

Did you get an alignment after you lowered it? Toe eats up tired just as bad as camber.

275s all around?? Let's see some pics! I haven't see any S' slammed on here

Lack of alignment/low air pressure (?) ate up the tires, depending on how low you are.

Control arms will help pull the camber back to OEM spec, but toe will eat tires as badly as camber. Get an alignment and rotate to try and prolong tire life.

I had the same problem. I'm lowered, but not slammed. PSS only lasted 11k miles.

The S6/7 front air suspension has very little camber adjustment, so make sure your toe is perfect.

I'm currently looking for air suspension myself. Can you give some tips on your set up?

Yes Buy S6 or S7 and you got everything. Don't have to put more money to it. At the end you will see its cheaper.

I just can say that 285-30-20 PSS lasted for me about 15-20K kilometers on a previous car with stock height and camber/toe ajustment

Lowered or not, don't expect max performance tires to last too long on cars this heavy.
