Just wondering where is the best price to order the supercharged badges for the fenders? Anyone ordered the eBay ones? If so, how do they look? Thanks

    Supercharged badge

I ordered the eBay ones for about $15/pair. They look fine, but they are glossy (esp the chrome looking part) and I read on here that the OEM ones are more of a matte finish. I haven't put them on yet bc I haven't figured out how to take the V6T badges off.

Also, they have 3M double-sided thick tape on the back. Not sure how well they'll hold up over time, esp. in cold/rainy conditions.

I just ordered a set of the below badges off eBay since they were recommended in another thread. Says OEM but I guess I'll find out when they show up.

These are not oem. The part number on these do not match the oem part number. I received an oem set from my dealer. These dont look too bad, but definitely knock offs. I've had these sitting in my desk drawer for over a year.

I bought mine from amazon.. its got the carbon fiber look on it. To remove, i just used a heat gun ($20 from home depot) and dental floss. Clean it up with goof off ($3-5 from home depot). I did several badge removal this way and replaced the badges with blacked out ones. 30 min process.

The OEM ones hold up really well. I've taken it through auto car washes and no problem, the adhesive holds up really good and i live in the AZ heat.

Make sure you get the PDF templates for them too so you can align them properly, or tape them off before removal.

I thought the OEM badges included the templates? Maybe I'm confused but could've sworn they did

I just ordered these exact ones last week, and they came in OEM VAG packaging and look real to me. I havent installed them, but they match the template.

I paid $145 for my OEM pair as a port installed option. Car delivered and both are installed crooked. Shocker. Wrong floor matts too. What idiots. Dealer has offered to order in a new pair and reinstall, but the risk of paint damage is a strong deterrent. Might reinstall myself but need to find/remove/replace 3m tape. Advice?

This is the same seller I got mine from and have no complaints. Don't know if genuine or not...but the look, finish and fit seems identical to OEM. I've had them on for about 18 months now and still look the same as day one. They were my 2nd ebay attempt at badges. The first were terrible at under $20/pair...polished look, red square lines not sharp, etc...

IMHO, $145 for badges is ridiculous. &60 for badges, Give me a break! I purchased a pair on ebay a few yrs ago. They were not as thick as the OEMs, but otherwise looked fine. Made in China. More aerodynamic . Probably good for an extra 5 HP! ECS Tuning has a template that can be printed. THEY ARE JUST STINKIN BADGES!

I can confirm that they are not OEM, or atleast the ones this seller sent me. I have OEM from the dealership and these. They are pretty close. I would stick these on my car if I didnt get my OEM ones for free. I tried to return them to the seller saying that the part number did not match Audi's and he offered me half my money back to keep them and not to write a bad review. Either way, they still look good.

Ditto- they are OEM. I have them on my car. If they aren't oem, they are damn good fakes down to the finish, oem packaging, correct part numbers and even the right adhesive.

I am not doubting you, but when I put 4F0853601A2ZZ into a search at http://genuineaudiparts.com/ this is what shows up: http://genuineaudiparts.com/parts/in...&siteid=214407
So the part number definitely matches up. And I know the eBay list says the part is located in Bradenton Beach, Florida but I got the tracking number the other day and it's an international tracking number.

I guess I'm the only one that kind of likes the V6T badges. I like the font, I think.

They weren't horrible, but I just didn't like the fact that it's a supercharged engine and most people assumed it was Turbo based on those badges. I just took mine off and left them off. Thought about buying the S/C badges, but I like it clean.

I use the ebay ones, only issue is the red faded on mine so I plan to just use nail polish and a clear after a bit of sanding first of course. I think it's just from drive thru car washes. also I kept the V6 and just too the T off, put the supercharged badge above the V6 and it looks really sharp. that way people won't ask what size turbo my car has anymore..
