    How to adjust endlinks

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Recently picked up a set of eurocode adjustable endlinks and I have no idea how I should adjust them.

I'm lowered on H&R coilovers and have H&R swaybars as well.

I found a post saying set them to stick length but that doesn't make sense to me as why would I need adjustable length endlinks then?

If anyone has a link or can explain this process, it would be greatly appreciated.

I guess I didn't really answer your question. When you lower your car with coilovers you can induce preload to the sway bar. Meaning one side of the bar could be loaded. Adjustable endlinks allow you to eliminate the preload. You would use this if you had your car corner balanced.

Lowering the car adjusts the angle the control arms are sitting so depending where your sway bar connects to the suspension, the new geometry of lowering could affect the pre-load on the sway bar, you can adjust for this with your end links, ideally you want the sway bar to be neutral with the car sat on the ground and no pre-load to the sway bar.

Ok, so ideally I would need to have the car on ramps or similar to keep everything level?

I would set the endlinks at the same length as the oem links and then take the car and have it corner balanced. I think eurocode instructions say how to install their endlinks. You'll have to double check, but I think they say it's ok to just jack up the car to install them.

Ideally the car would be weight on wheels with the end links removed, measure the distance between sway bar end and mounting point for the end link on the suspension. Set your end links to this dimension.
