Hi all. I've be a long time reader, but this is my first post. I'm selling my S4. It's a rare 25th Anniversary Edition (#82 of 250), and it's in excellent condition. I just hit 60,000 miles yesterday.

If you don't know about the 25th Anniversary S4, it was a special run that was made to commemorate 25 years of Quattro all wheel drive. You can read more about it in this interview. All 250 cars were identically equipped with the following:

    • Factory DTM body kit
    • Carbon Fibre lip spoilers front and rear
    • Exclusive Avus silver paint
    • Multi-spoke DTM style wheels
    • Bi-xenon headlights
    • Two tone Napa leather interior w/Recaro heated seats
    • Memory driver's seat
    • RS4 style carbon dash trim
    • Audi Nav+ Bose system w/bluetooth, dual SD slots
    • Auto-dim mirrors w/compass
    • Auto rain sensing wipers
    • Sunroof
    • Split folding rear seat with ski sack
    • 40/60 Torsen power split front to rear - first of the S4s to change from 50/50

Myself and previous owners have upgraded it with the following:

    • Clear bra on the full hood, front bumper, half front fenders, and lower rocker panels. Installed by Premier Films, one of the best installers on the entire west coast. Virtually undetectable.
    • Audi spec 502 oil always used.
    • Porterfield brake pads
    • Replaced 6 disc in dash CD changer with bluetooth/aux audio input (car has built in bluetooth calling which still function perfectly, but now you can also add bluetooth/aux audio). Original CD is included in case you ever want to change back to the stock setup.

I recently had the 55,000 mile maintenance done (oil change, new cabin filters, air bag calibration, etc.). Only minor scuffs and imperfections on the paint and interior. In immaculate condition. It's garage kept, and never abused.

Why am I selling it? It's my daily driver, and it's a bit more can than I need for my commute. I love driving it, but I want to down size a bit. I'm not in any hurry to sell, but I will consider reasonable offers.

    Asking $28,000.

Beautiful car, I think price is a bit too high regardless of 25Q. Glws

Thanks for the feedback [a]bek. I'd be interested to know what price seems right to you.

Nice car but asking price is in RS4 territory, there is actually one right below this listing for 28k.

High teens, I don't think you'll get anything from 20k+ unless someone's dying for the car but I know the limited edition aspect seems nice, some people don't really care as much as you can also get a regular S4 with the DTM package, but don't let it sway you. Try to get as much as you can but realistically all B7s in good condition lower mileage will go mid-high teens.

Thanks for advice guys. I'd probably just hold on to it at that price range. I would probably let it go around at 23-24k if you twisted my arm, but I don't need to sell it that bad right now.

That's the problem with these cars; you have to just love them and decide to keep them, or decide to sell at prices that will make you want to cry.

I'm also gonna say that your price is too high. Having owned one myself previously, I'd have to say your almost 10K over actual sale prices. I bought mine 3 years ago with 80k miles for 18k at a dealer.

It's a nice car for sure but most people would rather buy a RS4 for that amount. All the best with it
