The DSG fluids get changed and a new SC belt.

If you go to the dealer, they will want $1k+. I went to a respectable local Euro garage and had it all done. Instead of just getting the SC belt changed, I just went AWE Stage 2, which replaces the belt anyhow.

    Just my thoughts.
I literally just had this done a week ago! Also, check brakes, my rear brakes had less than 1mm pad left.
They also found a broken/burst engine mount (that I had suspected)...

How does a front brake job cost 1k? How exactly is a rainbow made? How exactly does a sun set? How exactly does a posi-trac rear-end on a Plymouth work? No one knows, it just does.

Right - except that you have a manual transmission - the DSG has very specific fluid requirements that makes the fluid alone ~$250 and then it's also more labor intensive to change....... It cost me $475 for an oil change & DSG Fluid change at my local indy shop.

So I agree $1K for DSG Fluid change and Charger Belt change seems a little high - but that's always the case at the dealer - I bet most indy shops would do for somewhere in the $600-$700 range.....

NGP will do DSG oil change for $350 which is very reasonable.

I went to Eurotech Motorsports in Mahwah NJ THEY WERE AMAZING!

so, they charged $350 to do the DSG fluid change as well, which is VERY reasonable seeing that the retail cost of the fluids alone is $250.

LeadtoRome: I just went with the updated OEM, as you can imagine this was somewhat of a surprise and didn't have time to mess around with research etc. I half knew that something was wrong from this "knocking" I would hear when I would hit high frequency bumps... I kept looking at suspension components, turns out it was the blown mount.

I am 100% SOOOOO much happier with the ride quality now! What a difference between a blown mount and non-blown.
