Popping noise under feet at low speed

So I have noticed this sort of popping noise that occurs under about 5mph when I am either accelerating or braking. it's not coming from either side but feels like it's coming from right under my feet, another friend who is a car guy sat in the passenger seat and agreed that it felt like it was coming from right around the footwell toward the center of the car. I have had the strut tower bushing go out before and it's definitely not that, nor does it occur during turns like a control arm issue would. I have new motor mounts and snub mount (under 5k miles that were done during my engine swap) so I'm kinda clueless. I've stfa and a few people have had similar issues but no thread ever went anywhere or gave a clear answer or suggestion for a fix. The only thing I can think of that it could be based on the location is maybe the drivetrain stabilizer/sway bar? Haven't gotten under the car yet to check into it further but I was curious if anyone else who had this issue was able to figure it out... (Before I do something impulsive and crazy like pull the motor again to replace all of the mounts)

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like center support bearing for the drive shaft.

Really? Wouldn't figure I would feel it that far up... This seems to be coming from right under my feet, forward about where the transmission links up with the motor.

Sounds like center carrier bearing to me. When mine whent it felt the same. The best way to figure it out is to rack it and see how much movement your center support bearing has. It shouldn't move much at all

Thanks corrado, I will give that a try tomorrow when I get it in the air. Any other things I should check that it could be?

I had something similar. It turned out to be the engine mounts. Try those.
