OK, My car's dash is pegging the temp gauge even at startup after sitting for several hours.

Torque says my coolant temp is about 185 after driving 10 miles in stop and go driving, oil gauge is in teh 150 range.

Second fan never kicks on. NO.

Suggestions? Where is the temp sensor the dash is looking at, and what can cause it to disagree with my coolant temp that much?

    Thanks,
    Alan

The temp gauge says it's at maximum immediately after starting the car (when it's obviously cold)? ...as well as all other times?

If I'm not mistaken (I often am...) the coolant temp sensor is the only thing you'll need to replace. It's behind the passenger valve cover. You'll have to remove some intake ducting and it's a bit of a pain to get but it's a relatively cheap part and once you know how to do it, it should only take 10-15 minutes. You WILL lose some coolant so have a bucket and some spare distilled water or g12 to go in.

Sensor replaced.. Oring was completely gone, disintegrated. Man than sensor is a pain to reach...and a paint to hold down while replacing the clip.. Just not enough room for my fat hands

Yeah, you can get one hand in there, but not one to hold the sensor in while the other pushes the clip.

    Did it fix the issue?
