Thanks guys for the variety of responses. First of no that is not glitter paint nor roofing shingles, its flat black paint and when looked at with the right angle under sunlight you get a portion of that glitter(camera allows all of it to show bc of the flash) and yes i am going to lower my nemo soon. It's a '97 so it took me a lot of work to redo the interior azndrunk74. if you would like to do the same please PM and i will help you. But thanks guys

i would def like to know more about the interior, i have a 97 also and would love to have that stereo in my car but i read on the forums that it wasnt possible

i like the stereo, but i would suggest a drop, even though it costs a shitload to drop, its all worth it, except scrapin over spped bumps >:(

lude2euroa4: The interior is alot of work and might cost some money. Now there are moments when you must custome make things, like if you look at my HVAC its from my '97 but i had to make it fit into a never HVAC frame. Also you would need to replace the whole console including the thing around your e-brake and cup holder. If you have question just ask them.

also your heated seats work? i see you dont have the rolling numbers...

i really like what you did there, the fog/defroster/hazard looks funny sideways, could you have gotten the newer style to fit snug?

how much did this all cost you + how much frustration

I like the grille with the blacked out Audi circles. I would paint the rotors and calipers to eliminate the rust look.

Paint the rotors? You're not serious are you? I hope you mean get cadium plated rotors. Rust on the rotors is normal after you wash the car, it goes away after using your brakes.

yeah that is normal on the wear face of the rotors. If they are rusting where the pads do not touch the rotor, you can sand it down and paint the area with silver paint.

I just thought you were one of those people who actually would paint the face of the rotor, I remember someone that actually did that on vwvortex.com and they even posted pictures, it was quite hilarious.

Yes you can just buy all 99 and up parts but that will cost you a lot of money just for an example from the dealer the arm rest costs you $450 and i found it on ebay for $50. So time is a big part of this if you are going to look for these items on ebay or even from here. I have the heated seats wheels i just need to install them. The fogs and hazard switches probably could have been switched to the newer look but that would require cutting wire so basically no plug and play.

well my car just broke down last night so i took it to bell audi and am getting my 70k maintnence and i had a problem with the ignition and the key was stuck in there and the car when switched off was stuck in the on mode.

so 1400 + ignition problem = no new console :(

but if i ever decide to do it, i know your not far, somehwere in jersey
