I can't believe I waited this long to install these on my Avant

New hatch struts. Seriously, I used to have to lug that big, heavy hatch up and hope it stayed. With the new struts, I pop the hood and "zing!", she pops right up without hardly any effort. Amazing!

It's funny how just getting new mundane items on the car makes it all the more loveable again.

I also got a new hood strut at the same time. Should've done that years ago, too.

Ha, yeah, my wife's Pilot had dead struts and I always had to lift that heavy thing up and then clamp some vice grips on the strut.

Now it goes up on its own and stays up.

    So nice, lol.

FedEx just dropped off a set for my Avant also! One smashed hand was all it took to order them.

Good Call! I should do the hatch and hood struts as well. They're rather sluggish and don't know why it hasn't occurred to me to replace them.

I have a brand new set if any body needs them. I meant to buy them for my trunk and ended by the hatch ones...

They've been on my Amazon wishlist for years...I think I'll wait for a good 'ol hand smashing to drop them in the shopping cart.

    It's always the little things!

I remember I used to DREAD driving in the winter cause my washer jets didn't work. Figured it was the pump so I ordered it and never got around to installing it cause it seemed like a PITA. Was reading a thread one day about it since I had about enough of not being able to see and it said to replace the fuse. Sure enough! Took two seconds to pop the old one out and a new one in. Washer jets came on full blast and have been fine ever since.
