currently have 2016 RS7, having come from S63, and am totally captivated with car. however, i'm being offered a Plus model identical in options to my present car and was wondering if those of you fortunate to have the Plus could give me some feedback on the perceived differences between regular RS7 and Plus. have a fairly narrow window to make this swap so would be extremely grateful for any concrete feedback from as many of you as possible.

The main differences between plus and non-plus model are 45 more HP and carbon ceramic brakes. If you opt in for air suspension in non-plus model, DRC comes standard in plus as well.

I'm sure you already know the engine spec difference...but in case anyone doesn't already know.

    RS7
    Horsepower (@ rpm) 560 @ 5,700 – 6,600
    Torque (lb-ft @ rpm) 516 @ 1,750 – 5,500
    Acceleration (0 – 60 mph) 3.7 sec.
    Top track speed 174 mph

    RS7 Performance
    Horsepower (@ rpm) 605 @ 6,100-6,800
    Torque (lb-ft @ rpm) 517 @ 1,750-6,000 (up to 553 @ 2,500-5,500 with overboost)
    Acceleration (0 – 60 mph) 3.6 sec.
    Top track speed 190 mph

0.1s faster to 60 mph might not be too noticeable to most. A regular Stage I RS7 is still much much faster. (677 HP 746 lb-ft)
Main thing would be they pushed the top speed limiter up to 190 mph from the factory. (Stage I would also remove this.) Not too many places you can use that function though.
The big price bump I can assume is mainly for the standard Ceramic Brakes that the Performance has.

I went from a '16 RS7 with DRC to the Performance and it's a totally different ride. Somehow it seems to hug the road tight. The steering is like butter reminiscent of my '13 S5.

The transmission is different as well and with everything put together it makes for an AMAZING ride. YOU will not regret it!
