Will the US AEB harness work on my Euro AEB?

The only differences I noticed is the plug that goes to the coolant expansion tank (D-shaped) and the (extra) plug to the rear O2 sensor. My Euro AEB (VIN 8DV 120121) harness has the front O2 sensor only and the shape of the plug to the coolant expansion tank is round. Will it work? I plan to splice the wires to fit to my coolant expansion tank plug.

just get an early aeb harness or use a later coolant tank. Don't change the harness from the superior plug.

Thanks for the replies. I bought a used US AEB harness some years ago to replace my toasted harness, thinking they're the same. But I'll sort out some issues first before finally replacing the harness.
