Not a bad idea. These things become unbonded from the casings with age and tend to make a terrible squeaking.

Good looking out! I can't seem to find a decent write up on replacing the bushings though. Anything in particular to look out for?

I bought two sets as well. FYI, these are a pain in the ass to replace.

First, they are tough to get out. I had to angle my air hammer just right and pound on it for a while until it would let loose.

Second, they are a bitch to get in. I finally devised a way of sucking them in. DO NOT pound on the arm much or place much force across the arm. It will bend. Mine did. I bent it back and feel kind bad about it. So here's what I did. Grabbed a washer big enough to fit the outside of the hole, then make sure the inside hole in the washer is big enough for the metal part of the bushing to slide through. I then found a large socket, big enough for the bolt to go through. Mine was a 1 1/8th craftsman socket. I seated everything up and gave er the nuts with my 1/2 impact and it worked pretty well.

Sorry the description of what to do is shitty but here are a couple pics without the arm thrown into the mix. The bushing would obviously be inside the hole.

I air hammered the shit out of them to get them out of the arm, then with a sanding drum on a dremel I cleaned the rust out of the hole, sprayed some WD 40 on the outer sleeve of the bushing as well as inside the hole of the arm and used a harbour freight ball joint press and they went in like butter, it literally took 10 min to install the 4 inner bushings. The outer bushings are another story lol
