Topic was discussed in this post: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...e-Brake-Rotors
and was indicated for LHD as
    Bleeding sequence
1 - Left front brake caliper
2 - Right front brake caliper
3 - Left rear brake caliper
4 - Right rear brake caliper
And sho nuff this is what the Erwin manual has.

But my certified Audi Tech says to do it the conventional way - RR, LR, RF, LF. Who should I believe?

I'd like to know this too saw it shown both ways but looking to replace my flexible lines in the next few days so would be good to know for sure.

Can't see it making that much difference in all honesty or we would have heard about it by now.

Maybe they figure you are using a power bleeder?

not sure it makes a difference as none of the lines are shared after the ABS unit and just follows the path of least resistance

So I fitted my ECS brake lines today and am a bit disappointed with the pedal feel so I guess I need to bleed the brakes again.

This is what I did (RHD car) :-
    Fit FR
    Bleed FR
    Fit FL
    Bleed FR
    Fit RR
    Bleed RR
    Fit RL
    Bleed RL

I guess as soon as I disconnect a line there's a risk of air getting in so now all lines I done just doing a full bleed FR, FL, RR & RL should inprove things.

You are correct. No reason to bleed until all lines are fit to the car. My sequence was farthest first, finishing at driver's side front. My pedal feel was/is perfect.

That's how I've always done it and did for my stoptech swap. No issues and great pedal feel.

Bit of a random question, when you take the cap off the brake master cylinder reservoir does the yellow thing come out ? If so, how ?

    Thanks ;o)

You don't need to pull the yellow cup out. Just be careful when filing the reservoir, it takes a couple of seconds for the brake fluid to work its way through it. I'm not even sure it comes out to be honest, but you don't have to mess with it.
