    Car is cutting out HELP

Ok so hears where im at. My car is intermittently cutting out. It just up and dies while driving. When it does the car cranks over like no tomorrow but wont fire up. Then after a few minutes it will fire up and drive. It might go a few days without cutting out or like 30 minutes. Its only while driving and it is not consistent to throttle. The fuel pump is two years old from JHM fueling kit. The car is stage 3. I have replaced the fuel pump relay and no change. While cranking over when it wont start, I put my ear on the pump access cover and it sounded like the pump was running. Im so lost. The only code that is coming up is P1556 Negative Deviation. Or 17964 Charge Pressure Control.

those codes are usually related to boost leaks, the next time it happens unplug the maf and try starting it. Leaks in the system will deliver different amounts of air to the engine than the MAF has calculated and cause it to run poorly.

Yep ^ is right. Motor is saving itself from damage.

Pressure test the system. Probably a TBB or IC hose popped off a little.

Thank you I will do both things. Question when driving it is totally fine power wise boosts strong would it still be a leak. Could it be the N75 valve?

I also say the car only cuts out at cruising speed. Actual speed does not matter but not under hard acceleration.

If audi is like any other car that would make sense, it will go into open loop under WOT and likely not even rely on the maf.

My car just started cutting out as well. I throw no codes and my air to fuel and boost is normal. Any ideas?
