    Passenger power seat not working

i have a 2005 avant 1.8t just got it recently.

yesterday i took a passenger power seat from a different a4 that i have and installed it into the car which had a non power seat before.
i put the back bolts in first and moved the seat back and when it stopped moving i thought it was all the way back. but when i wanted to move it again it didnt work in any direction

i tested all the motors and tested the whole seat in the other car and it all worked.
i did some research and found out that it is not that uncommon that the driver seat doesnt work, and the problem is usually the control module under the driverseat. but my driver seat works good. does anyone know if the passenger seat has a module like that too and where it is? because it doesnt work off of the driver module.

also lots of motors for the HVAC system dont work
i checked some of the motors and they worked but they dont on the car... could this be related somehow with the seat? through some kind of module? did anyone have similar problems?

Seems to me you're probably missing 2 or 3 of the connectors required to power the seat. You probably only got the airbag and seat heater plugged in. If your car came with a manual passenger seat then the wiring for a power seat is probably not in the car.

You need to pull the actuators and take them apart and clean/grease them so they get the correct voltages and function smoothly, they are behind the glove box and have nothing to do with the seats

I have an estimating book for the car with part numbers. and for seat memory module it has passenger side and driver side with the same part number but 2 modules. Just that I don't know where the passenger one is.

Check the fuses... If your car came with lumbar support the fuses only hanble 10 amps and they fry after 2 minutes of moving the seats. they need to be replaced for a 20 amp fuse... I had this issue with my recaros that I installed this last weekend...

I got it to work already, it was a fuse under the glove compartment that was 10amp and on cars with automatic passenger seats it is a 30amp so I replaced that and it works now.
Thank you for the reply anyway
