Just picked up a 2016 and when I put on high beams, I see no blue dash light. Is this normal? I had a 2013 that had blue light.

Probably hiding behind steering wheel rim. I can't see a cel nor my traction light when deactivated based on the angle and depth I have my wheel positioned to

Nope, but I'll look again. But yeah, steering wheel gets in way of fuel gauge for sure

Take it to dealer ,that is what the warranty if for. Are you sure the headlights are on? The auto setting is very wired . But if it is night time , and you can,t activate brights you have a problem that dealer will have to fix. Blue light on dash will come on when headlights go from normal to bright based on your activation with turn signal stalk, you push it forward.. You pull it back to flash.

Just checked again and nothing works, including blinkers. Would this be a simple fuse issue?

Look into Carista. You need an obd adaptor and the app to do code resets and a bunch of other cool tweaks. 60$ all in.

I do believe there is higher resolution on nav units.

Apparently gauge cluster is burned out. Diagnostic shows a bunch of low voltage errors. He said he's never seen this before. Nice.

One other thing. This car was on dealer showroom floor for some period of time. When I was looking at it and dealer went to pop trunk, the trunk wouldn't open. Turns out battery was dead. This seems odd. Not sure how long car Sat without starting, but seems odd battery would be dead even if it sat for a few months.

I would imagine that is from people getting in and out and turning radio on etc. Seen that before on cars that sit in the showroom for months and batteries aren't maintained.

That's an interesting point. THese cars do some really weird things when the battery's low. I mean really weird. I'd not be surprised if that was the cause fo the dash not working and if you got the battery more juiced up and or replaced, it would work itself out. I've seen them no unlock or open doors due to battery, etc etc. crazy stuff that just seems unrelated.
If they're good with flipping out the dash, have them do it but I'd also have that battery load tested to make sure nothing's wrong with it.
