Daz TShirt Donation

hello everyone, Trey here. I wanted to create a thread detailing the campaign and the donation and the little struggles that took place in between as well as share the details.

The Campaigns

So in the beginning I created the campaign with a 30 shirt goal in mind. if you look at the picture below you will see that would have totaled a $281 donation to the GoFundMe. We ended up going way beyond that...



The above campaign was one I started but people didn't much care for the design. It did sell a few shirts and the total for this one came to $13.98 Here are all the Daz shirt campaigns I started and their totals.



The campaign you see at the top was the initial one where the design wasn't too popular. The second one being the main shirt campaign and the bottom being started after the main campaign to catch any stragglers that missed out on getting a shirt.

The payouts.



The campaigns can only be paid out after 24h from the end of the campaign. In order to get the donation in as timely as possible I ended the campaigns once they looked as if they had peaked and visits and purchases were almost nill.
The first payout being on 4/22 was the sum of the first campaign and the main. The second payout on 4/24 was the payout of the first compaign. All Totalling $1134(Rounded up). After the payouts were processed it took another couple of days to see them in my Paypal account. Upon setting up the donation, I became aware the GoFundMe does not accept Paypal! WTF GoFundMe?! So, I had to add my bank to my paypal account, which took ANOTHER couple of days. Which brings us to today. The funds have cleared and the donation has been made!




Thank you to everyone who bought a shirt! Across all three campaigns we sold 101 shirts! Be sure and rock those with pride! The smaller campaigns have already entered the shipment phase at ViralStyle and the larger order of 86 shirts is still printing. I've been assured they will ship soon and be in our hands! You guys are awesome and I'm proud to be a part of this community. The people I've met personally from this place have shown to be great friends and I hope to meet more of you in the future.
