    Front bumper facelift questions

    So I have been thinking about swapping out my standard 05 bumper for the facelift 2010 bumper. I have read about people doing the s-line front but not the standard facelift. My question is what is needed besides the bumper, fog lights, and grille? And also what's the deal with the headlight washers on the facelift i keep reading that they didn't come on those cars

    The bumper is a straight swap, however you will need new fogs (H11), fog grilles, and front bumper lip.

    I am not sure if I would ever do it. Many people will think that the car was in front-end accident. It would look really bad if the car had updated front end of the car and old trunk lid with old tail lights. However, it is only my personal opinion.
    If I were you, I would buff out the headlights and get clear or smoked side markers to get your front end a fresh and new look.

    Front bumper facelift questions

    You could update the front of your car by simply changing out the grill to an updated grill or even an RS6 grill. The cost of replacing the entire bumper with paint, fogs and GRILL outweighs the benefits IMHO. Just do a grill, maybe add a front splitter and be done with it.
    As for the headlight washers; not sure where you are reading that but they are still there.

    I don't plan on selling the car anytime soon though I just like the newer bumper and grille . Wanted to update it a but before I throw my wheels and coilovers on... And about the headlight washers I can't find them anywhere

    Also about the cost of the bumper my best friend can get me a used oem front bumper for about 200 . He works at a place that sells used parts

    Headlight washers should be the same. Does your car currently have them?

    I highly doubt it. But do a part number check to see. I do not see why they would feel the need to re-engineer a piece when nothing material changed in that area. It's a facelift, not a new model.
