    Ripped door foam - fix tips?

    I had to remove the foam off the passenger side door of a 2006 Audi A6 Avant Quattro 3.2 (typo 3.0 corrected)

    In some areas I managed to pull off the glue, but bottom length ripped completely full length, and some corners are also ripped.

    Any tips how to patch it up? Just use duct tape?

    What to use to re-glue the part that is in tact?

    I used RTV silicone without tape. But I also didn't rip too much, mostly cutting it off. Duct tape can get nasty with time and heat so think of that

    Need to apply something over the rips themselves.

    You're post is kind of confusing. Do you have a 2002 Avant or 2006? 'Cus ain't no such thing as a C6 3.0 A6, but yes for the C5.

    Use this crap. It's cheap enough and will stay put in high heat. It's also the same crap used to wrap the wires and not leave a gooey mess. I just had to find it. (I Love Amazon btw)
