Need Advice on Powder Coating Wheels

I am getting my wheels powder coated and the guy who works there said they don't powder coat the back part of wheel where it connects to the hub. He said he has done it in the past and customers always complained they couldn't get their wheels off, as if they were glued on (guessing because of the heat). Since that area will now be exposed after sand blasting, I am afraid of corrosion. Do you guys prefer spraying a clear coat on it and if so, which one?


Was thinking of buying either one below. Would prefer suggestions first.

You could just put a light costing of anti seize on the hub. It will stop it from rusting and sticking to the rotor.

Others can chime in, but I don't think painting it is necessary. I won't hurt so if it makes you feel better go for it. I don't believe the alloy that rims are made of will rust. At least I've never had a rim rust. It's more the rotor hub on the car that rusts.

If you put antiseize make sure you put a very thin coat. You don't want globs of antiseize flying off onto your rotors impacting your ability to brake.
