    Short story of my a4 b6 1.8t .

After purchasing from NJ and living in the Catskill mountains in NY, 30 minutes into the ride home the turbo blew. Me thinking I could be like Paul walker and Vin Deisel, had the car towed home and began striping her down. I bought the car with NO warranty like an idiot not knowing exactly what I was getting into. The years prior I had an a4 b5 2.8 and swapped to 1.8t when I blew the 2.8 motor. I put a gt 35r and had a custom exhaust done with front mount, ssqv bov with stage 2 clutch. A week after driving hit a deer and totaled it. I then bought the b6 and a house and the night mare begins. After replacing the turbo, I figured do all maintenance so I did
    New:
    Water pump
    Thermostat
    Coolant flush
    Oil change
    Timing belt / accessory belt
    Borla exhaust
Enkei wheels on 235/35/18 falcon tires
    Mint leather
    Tinted windows
    Eurocode intake
    Momo shift knob
    Boost gauge
    Bose
    Suspension dropped
How could you not want this car!
    I did sai delete
Rerouted vacuum lines and deleted lines
I've blown up a catch can so now I leave open to the ground.

Well after a week I noticed coolant leaking, check engine light on, smoke out of tail pipes. The cat was shot so i replaced with down pipe. I had to take the head off to get checked and the out come was get a new one. So I order a head from rai motorsport and get a bent cam sprocket. After that's sorted I put arp head studs and the new head on. Back in business, the car is wonderful never getting rid of it. I order eurodyne maestro, seimen injectors for stage 3, Ross tech, same gt 35r I bought for b5, i have custom mid pipe done to down pipe and kept borla mufflers. When I got to shop to have gt 35r installed the seal on turbo was no good. So months later after saving for a name brand turbo several control modules go bad, I just can't catch a break. I get the Garrett gt 28rs with 44mm open dump. Few months later, no compression. I order a used engine with 1 year warranty from shokan about an hr from me with 58k miles. I add the stage 2 clutch from South Bend. Full Eurodyne maestro and found out car was already chipped. Now I feel like the s#@t...was looking to get engine built and transmission rebuilt. In mean time I've done 034 rear adjustable sway bar kit and crank vent. I ran into the 3.0t and 4.0t engines... and have a new look on what driving could be!! So I'm looking into s5 or a6/s6.
