Hi all,

I was trying to replace the trim around my center console on my 2016 A4 but I gave up when I got to the part of disconnecting the switches around the shifter surround. I can't risk f*ing anything up so I was wondering if anyone can recommend a shop with knowledgable experience in changing small things like this in the interior in the LI/Nassau areas. I have all the parts, just don't have enough confidence for the labor.

Replacing it, I have the pain black piece.

I couldn't get the emergency break and another one to unplug and I bugged out and threw it all together

Find someone in your area on the forums and buy them a beer to swap it for you. If you want and meet me in Manhattan, I'll swap it the next time I'm in town.

Don't pay a shop for stupid shit like this -- this is why people think Audi's are ungodly expensive to own.

those 3 harnesses are just push down tabs, then pull out. just like the A/C controls. if you can unplug the A/C, you can do the rest.

use a mini-flathead screwdriver
