Advice sought on what service to perform on my 2011 S4

Thanks in advance for the advice...

My 2011 S4 is had the service reminder jump up recently. I only have 26K on it and just did the 24k last year. The next service interval is the 35K, but I wasn't sure if I should just go ahead and jump to that or hold off and just do the routine oil change, systems checks, etc. and conduct the full 35K once I hit that mileage. Thoughts?

35k is the critical one ( and expensive at dealer ) due to DSG service. Sounds like you aren't putting a lot of miles on it in a year, so you might want to just do an off-cycle oil change at some point prior.

Thanks. That is what I was thinking, but wanted to have some others chime in to confirm the direction I was leaning with others.

    FYI ^^

That said - is it more so a 'mechanic's thought to go every 3 months for the next service = oil change, vs others? Stick to the maintenance schedule for the big work by mileage, and toss an oil change in there once in a bit?
I'm in a quasi similar boat as the OP in the fact that I have been biking to work so the car sits for extended periods of time

I would just hold off. If your last service was a year ago, I would definitely suggest doing an oil change now.

Change your oil and filter every 5000 miles, change DSG fluid and filter every 30,000 miles.
