And yellow was not my first pick and i might change in the near future, i really like the gray/silver kind matching the mirrors and also i really like the red from the audi R8 calipers its called anodized red!

i probably would of went with black lettering decals, would add a nice contrast.. looking good though. my decals are holding up nicely even after 3 years.. then again, i don't beat on my brakes or track. i had my calipers ceramic coated though.

at 90 dollars a piece who wouldn't put it off.
after painting, decals, etc.. i'd much rather invest that money into a rear bbk.

i have an itch to change the color on mine again.. to blue, but it's diffcult to match ceramic coating to car color. i may have to go with powdercoating which i hear it's easier to get the color closer.

Yea i got my RS7 plates for 80$ each and took me about 1 hrs to install both!
Its a nice upgrade for those that doesn't want to go bbk on the rear!

Stoptech, the one that includes the ebrake setup. they also have a kit with no ebrake, it's like $900 cheaper. i couldn't see myself without a ebrake, so it was worth the investment for me.

the kit sells for $3500 and i got it for around $2700 from a vendor here, there are two extra calipers and the bracket/etc so it adds to the bbk cost, plus i opted for the zinc coated rotor rings so they don't rust, think the kit would of been around 100 less w/o zinc. the kit without ebrake is like $1900.
the plus side of things is removable rotor ring and easy brake pad service similar to the front bbk.

yes that is the kit part number, but not actual picture (those don't look like 4 piston). looks like stoptech might of lowered the price of the kit.. MSRP was 3500 when i bought my kit about 2-3 years ago. they also make another kit "Trophy" edition # 83-113-0047.R1 which cost $600-800 more (forged calipers iirc).

it doesn't change the braking bias as far as i know, if it does, i don't notice it.. from what i know, the caliper and rotor are bigger, but the car brake controller/cylinder applies the same amount of oil pressure entering the caliper as the previous stock calipers, so the clamping force remains is the same.
i would assume you could use any rotor that have the same size/specs, as for brake pads, i have no idea if you could use other brands. i'm using the pads that came with the kit and by the looks of it, they should last at least a decade before i need to replace them ;)

It's Glut Orange.... wanted to stay within the Audi family of colors.
