The rears can be adjusted from the underside. Star fastener IIRC. But yea, the spanner wrench only needs to hold the collar, and adjust from under the body.

The spanner wrench is hitting parts of the car once you do get it on the star nut.. if thats what you were talking about by star fastener. If you happen to get to bite into the star you can't turn it as it hits parts of the car in every direction.

Do I have to move the swing arm or jack it up or undo the shock tower?

Do both rear tires have to be off at the same time and jacked up?

There is no room to turn the wrench. i can see maybe if it was shorter but that is another mission to cut it.

Lock the wrench on the collar (piece on threads), and adjust from the underside....

nice pic. my nut is a lot higher up like inside that so when the wrench is on it, it hits the metal to the left. does that cover come off by chance to get it from the other side? I will have to get a pic tomorrow. I have no idea how they got it up so high. I just had the car raised at a shop and its sitting too high. So I figured I would learn how to do it myself and put it where I want it.

    Perfect pic, Mops

OP - Use the spanner to hold the collar still, do not adjust by turning the collar. While the collar is held in place, use a ratchet and whatever the right bit is to turn the entire threaded assembly from the bottom. Think holding a nut still and turning the bolt, same concept.

If you still can't get it to work, only other option is to take them off and send them to me....

had to hold it and turn the bottom with a huge allen wrench. didn't even have to take the tires off the car. Good to know thanks!

I am still messing with the height. If you want to lower you turn the allen wrench clockwise to bring the star nut down right? I dropped it 1/4 inch so there is 1.5 inch of thread in the rears showing but maybe its not settled or my driveway is uneven but the measurement from ground to fender didn't seem to move.

Here is a pic of where I am trying to put it back to. I didn't take measurements before it was raised :/

Car has cquartz on it :)

Nice! and extremely jealous of the wheels. For some reason that is my very favorite wheel design. Something about the visual aesthetics of the 7 twin spoke. Probably the only wheel I would trade my rotors for.
