    Audi S5 Brakes reset light

Hi, I just recently purchased a 2009 Audi S5 and when you start the car up I get the "Brake Pads!" message and the (0) logo. The dealer wants $1500.00 or so to do the brakes but I can do them myself. My question is will I have to get the warning message reset by the dealer if I do them myself or if once I replace the pads will the light reset itself. I guess I have the same question for an oil change. If I do my own oil change can I reset that or does the dealer have to reset it. Thanks for any input you may have. I am new to this set up and it is a little difficult to find the information that I am needing.

yes you'll need to have it reset but how its done is your choice. Few options include a ross tech cable, cartisto app & dongle, local shop?
