    Hey Guys .

I am coming to the end of the baselining of my new to me A4 and I have left the "fun" projects till the end. Looks like I will be a bit pushed as my A6 saw what was going on and decided to pack it in and transmission fell out.

Anyhow . all I have left is cam follower, should be an hour or so on the weekend, redo my thermostat .. I didn't replace that stupid coolant oring and now she is leaking ( lesson learned ) , about 2 hours im thinking ..

...and the last two .. fuel filter .. and oil filter .

fuel filter no big deal and oil filter which looks like a PITA compared to my 2.8 . I did lots of searching so I know what im in for and have 36mm socket already from my 911 rebuild so im good there.

My question (sorry about the long winded approach ) Where do I locate the jack stands after jacking up the front end ? , or do I have to jack it up , then remove under tray , then place jack stands? I don't like that approach for obvious reasons. ( cars are heavy )

Ramps are nice for oil changes. Jack stands typically go where the subframe connects to the frame. Search the forum, there are pictures. Hope it all goes well, particularly cam follower.

thanks ill search a bit more .. I couldn't see under the car where to put them with those damn covers... yeah im expecting a big old hole in the cam follower . pop in a new one while I consider my options . But I only paid 3500 for the car so it was worth the gamble I think.
Will the car make it up the ramps without hitting front valance ? or do you lay 2 by 8s down or something ?

My car is an s line, so slightly lower than stock, and it fits on rhino ramps perfectly.

Mine is lowered and fits perfectly on those same ramps, very very little clearance when I first pull onto the ramp but it does not scrape.
