    Apexi turbo timer.

Read lots of write ups and seem most people are not running the 02 wires. Just the power ground e-brake wires. If you do run the o2 wires what is the best place to tap the grey and white wires into? Search not helping me much. Thanks in advance.

can I ask why you think you need a turbo timer? If its new, I suggested you box it back up and get a refund, then buy something worthwhile for your girl

Cool. Thanks. Anyone else? I have it might as well run it. The longer I can prolong life of the turbo the better so why not?

I hated the turbo timer on my old A4. It was annoying.

Is it too much to ask you to either:

    A. Stay out of boost and drive easy the last 5 mins to your destination?

    B. Let it idle the 2 mins when you get there so your oil temp is at 80-90 Celsius (180-190ish Fahrenheit)?

I usually let my car idle down to about operating temp, which is 80-90 Celsius on the S4. Anything lower than that I shut down as soon as I get there. If it's over 90 I'll sit there like a good boy cool down

Way too much to ask. If you aren't boosting into your parking space you are doing it wrong.

Anyway I will usually let the car idle for a song after a hard drive. I love boosting on the highway and I live right off it so figure I'm letting the car sit at least every other drive home. That being said I don't always do it depending on life shit, but when I do, like others I've noticed less oil usage over a normal 5k service interval.

A place between here and there

I have a turbo timer and rarely use it. But I also have a larger turbo that isn't necessarily cheap. Even then, it hardly ever gets used. Only time I really do use it is when I want to run into a place really quick. Turn it on for 10 minutes, turn car off, lock doors, come back out, car still running, car not stolen, hop back in, key back in ignition, and I can drive right off. Works great for double parking situations. But wait..that's illegal .
I hate it when my car acts like a little bitch, treating me like a bitch
