    Front seat rattle

    Hi Guys,
I have a rattling front seats which will only go away if somebody is sitting on it. I've replaced both side plastic pieces, and all rubber bushings. I suspect the frame itself is loose. Does anybody have the same problem and managed to fix it?

I'm guessing you have had your seat out. Something is obviously loose. I would pull the seat and maybe pull the seat bottom apart or tap around to see where it is loose.

Could be one of the hog rings( staple looking things) could be rattling on the rods that hold the seat cover on.

I heard the rattle will go away if you change the brand of the car ... ... They all rattle sooner or later. It's a VW.

Thanks. It's a pain to remove the seat out of the car without potentially scratching the interior. But I will give it a try.
