FWIW, I bought a set of the OEM Carbon Fiber supercharged badges and then bought a pair of red vinyl overlays from here: http://grfxpstore.com/store/product/885037490

I applied them carefully and if you look closely you can just barely see a little bit of the CF around one of the edges. Otherwise they look very close to OEM red. If I ever want to go with a more blacked-out look with the carbon fiber, I can simply peel off the vinyl, but honestly I'm very happy with how they turned out. They have been through two Pennsylvania winters and there is no peeling or degradation.
