    Y spoke center caps

Just did a stud conversion because I was sick of dealing with the lug nuts and having to sit under the tire to hold it into place every time I wanted to reconnect it. Super easy and overall happy with the results.

But one problem. My center caps don't fit anymore.

I tried taking off the circle parts on the ends of the "star" to see if that will give it any extra room and it worked for the back because of the 20mm spacer I have back there but not on the front which just has a 15mm spacer.

Thinking that the best solution would to be to find a center cap that doesn't have the spokes and just covers the center and running some colored lug nuts or something. Anyone have any ideas or know of a center cap that will fit the center of this wheel? They're the S5/Upgraded A5 y spoke wheels.

    Thanks!

The wheel should sit on the hub and u shouldn't have to hold the wheel up.

Im confused by what you mean. The wheel is on there fine I'm just looking for the right size center cap that will cover the hole in the center but doesn't have the arms the current center caps do.

What he means is, when taking off a wheel and putting it back on the car, the hub has a lip where the wheel can rest on, eliminating the need for you to sit under the wheel while installing it - in other words, if that was the reason for your stud conversion, it wasn't really necessary. His response was not in regards to the center cap - I think in regards to the center cap you're SOL given the design. Why don't you upgrade to a set of wheels that doesn't have the star center caps, such as the rotors or the peelers?

Ah. That makes sense. My spacers made it kind of difficult to rest the wheel on the hub.

The eventual plains to upgrade to new wheels but as for now I kind of like these.
